Hindi is Not National Language

No Need Of Hindi In Central Govt Offices

Language is necessary for communication between humans. In India, there are 22 official languages and more than 1000 languages spoken by natives. We can see Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Konkani, and others. In Karnataka, Kannada is the official language. Lambani, Tulu, Kodava, and others are local languages. What I want to tell is that why we need not Hindi as a third language. Indian central govt imposing Hindi slowly across the Indian govt by giving funds. In Railway stations, banks, post offices, the army, and in other agencies govt boards are in Hindi, English, and local languages. Exams are also in Hindi and English. I’ll get into the direct point. We don’t need Hindi as a national language.

First I will talk about the education system in India. In south India Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam Students learn Hindi as a third language. But Tamils are not ready to learn Hindi, and they have only two language policies. Except for Tamilnadu Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala have three language policies. My first argument is Hindi learning kids learn why English?. Hindi Learners learn English as a second language but they need all exams in Hindi and they get it. But other regional language learners learn both Hindi and English but they don’t get some central govt exams in their respective languages. The point is Hindi learners are blessed and regional language learners are unblessed that they have to put more effort to get a job. Politicians are doing a favor to Hindi-speaking people.

Regional Language speaking people also belong to India but the fact is more Injustice is provided to them by the central govt. Hindi Imposition is like a slow poison that one day the regional languages die from that. Kannada has more than 2500 years of history and has 8 Gnanapita awards. Most Indians thought that Hindi is a national language but the fact is Hindi is not the national language. In Karnataka, we can see Hindi boardings and English influence. In Central govt offices we can see application forms are in Hindi and English but not in Kannada. For example, in the post office, we can’t see Kannada forms. People of Karnataka have to learn Hindi and English to write the form. The fact is many states people don’t learn a third language and they get all facility in their languages. But South Indian people have to learn a third language to get central govt facilities. Hindi-speaking people easily learn two languages but Non-Hindi speakers have to struggle to learn three languages totally in their primary and high school.

My Final words are that we don’t need Hindi as a national language or in offices also. The central govt has to give all exams in two languages that one in English and one in a regional language. If you still need Hindi to remove English completely from India. In the world, English rules the majority so two languages are enough that is one English and their respective regional language.
