In today’s class, we discussed about Greek Intellectual Traditions. Skill need for what?. We have to think that why we need Skills. Greeks are fascinating in that they believe in good and bad luck. They are very fascinating in their life. Westers For inspiration go back to Greek tradition. We should learn but how to think. As a student of University, we have to learn and also develop thinking. Think about a topic that is not understood by you. Think about your life. Thinking is important to students. Aristotle Thinks that he takes out your knowledge from you. Aristotle is a great philosopher. Every department in the University studies about him. Aristotle brings out our knowledge by entering into our minds.
Aristotle engages with people and asks questions to them and gets answers from them. Aristotle asks people what is friendship, what is art, and why are you happy. Socrates did knowledge by telling an example. Socrates says that the baby comes out from the mother with the help midwife Like this sculpture comes out from the stone by the sculptor.
Another name for a business is cheat. In business, language skill matters a lot. Language skill or marketing skill is necessary for a business because they cheat people by describing the product in a different way people get excited. In University students expects they will learn language skill but University is not for that. Some universities are doing that they giving skills to students, not intellectual thinking. Universities want to produce scholars, not presentators. We can learn marketing skills in 3 months in coaching centers but we can’t learn intellectual in 3 months.
